| The Gold Coast Motorcycle Ride From Port Dover to Port Ryerse through winding roads, valleys and over rivers, into Turkey Point, to the eateries and beach, switchback up the escarpment west to Port Rowan, over the causeway to Long Point with incredible fishing, fantastic beach and Provincial Park at the end for Parking.
Port Dover: A quaint fishing village with light house and pier, great place to eat, home of Friday 13th, Canada's Largest Motorcycle Event that occurs on every Friday 13th, even in cold weather! Drop by the Norfolk Tavern, Dovers Historic Tavern, for food and drinks Port Ryerse: A very small hamlet set in a ravine with a small river emptying into Lake Erie. Turkey Point: Down a long curve, T Boned at the beach, wide beach and eating places with plenty of cottages for rent. Port Rowan: From Turkey Point take Lakeshore Rd (also Front Road), west along the Lake Erie Coast to Port Rowan. If you are here on the Labour Day weekend you will experience "Bayfest". Other times of the year angling, boating, golfing. Also check out the Bird Studies Canada building and the Book Shoppe, a small unique book store.(where you can pick up a copy of (13 A Photo Journal, collectors addition covering Friday 13th Port Dover) From Port Rowan head west on Front Street to Hwy 59, access road to Long Point, Ontario. Long Point: Travel a sometimes winding road, catch glimpses of Lake Erie, across a cool causeway, to a vast extensive beach lined with cottages. At the end of the road, a Provincial Park for camping, swimming, fishing.
